Life extension
The mtu PowerPack life extension program is more than a general overhaul of changing bearings and brushing up components of the kinetic energy accu. Parts for classic control systems based on the older type of printed circuit boards are becoming more and more obsolete. We offer to our latest upgrade of the controls system KS-Vision® 2.0, extending the lifetime from 20 to 30 years and beyond.
With our periodic inspections, we ensure a life extension of the mtu diesel engines. New technologies like Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) meet local governments’ latest diesel emissions standards. Existing power distribution panels with outdated switchgear will be replaced and serviced.
